Cheers to Artech Studios!

Why buy one of those generic liquor flasks when you can have your own vintage style flask made right here in good ole Ontario? Do you know a  guy who used to line their dorm room with nasty, stinky, unrinsed beer bottles? (Unfortunately, we all know a guy who did that.) Well here’s your chance to ring in a little nostalgia, but this time, do it germ-free and with a little more class.

Artech is known for taking recycled glass liquor bottles and glassblowing them into useable works of art. What’s awesome is that they use the original bottles and individually glassblow them into unique glasses, decanters or flasks. The labels are  not touched up, painted on, or reworked. What you see is what you get!

On another note, if you want to actually try glassblowing yourself, Artech Glassblowing Studios offers glassblowing workshops for the randoms like you and me! Amazing right?!?! You would have to first apply for the workshop and then drive yourself out to Tory Hill, Ontario for a day (3 hour drive north of Toronto). I would have so much fun learning the art of glassblowing; however in the end I can still see myself creating a sad flacid-looking glass. Oh woe is me.

Happy New Year everyone! Cheers!
